Department: Special Education Extended School Year (ESY) 
Positions: Total number of positions to be determined by student enrollment
Salary: $26/per hour - paraeducator sub - $45/per hour teacher sub

 

POSITION SUMMARY:
Applicants must select the position(s) for which they are applying - Day to Day Substitutes for: ESY Teacher, ESY Sub Separate Teacher, ESY Vocational Teacher, ESY Paraeducator.
Hired on an as needed basis.

 

Position: ESY Substitute Teacher
Program Dates: 07/06/2026 through 08/06/2026
Days: Monday through Thursday

Times: Elementary: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

 

Secondary: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Location & Grades: Elementary: DiPietro Elementary
Grades: PK through Grade 3

 

Secondary: Bellingham Memorial School
Grades: Grades 4 through 12+

Pay Rate: *$45 per hour
Details: Day to Day Substitutes – Assignments vary based on need.

 

Position: ESY Substitute Paraeducator
Program Dates: 07/06/2026 through 08/06/2026
Days: Monday through Thursday

Times: Elementary: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Secondary: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Location & Grades: Elementary: DiPietro Elementary
Grades: PK through Grade 3

SKILLS/ABILITY:
Experience teaching or assisting students in the requested grade level.

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES and/or DEGREE REQUIREMENTS:
1. Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Certification is preferred.
2. Preference will be given to applicants teaching students with mild to moderate special needs or severe disabilities.
