TITLE: Response to Intervention (RtI) Coordinator: High School, Memorial School, DiPietro Elementary, Stall Brook Elementary (1 Coordinator per building as listed above)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Is responsible for complete organization of the Response to Intervention (RtI) Team for the entire school year
2. Schedules meetings for the Response to Intervention (RtI) Team
3. Issues and collects teacher reports for the meetings
4. Records a log of meetings held and work performed for the Coordinator and Team Members
5. Manages and conducts the Response to Intervention (RtI) Team meetings in the building
Responsibilities include:
Part I
6. Collects current teacher reports using the Teacher Reports/Assessments, and a three-year academic, attendance discipline history. Also collects previous evaluations if completed.
7. Chair Response to Intervention (RtI) Team meetings
8. Records meeting minutes
9. Completes signed profile forms and intervention recording forms with team members
10. Sets follow-up meeting dates scheduled in 30 days
11. Participates in one weekly after-school Response to Intervention (RtI) support class for referred students
12. Records student attendance and work summary or 30 days in Response to Intervention (RtI) support class
Part II
13. Chair Responce to Intervention (RtI) follow-up meeting
14. Records meeting minutes
15. Review student data progress with team
16. Makes appropriate recommendations for 30-day observation
17. Completes signed Response to Intervention (RtI) Team outcome and recommendation forms (meeting summaries) with team members
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Regular and/or special education Massachusetts certified teacher
SALARY: $1500 Stipend
REPORTS TO: Building Principal
