TITLE: Assistant Principal - DiPietro Elementary

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

DiPietro Elementary School is seeking an Assistant Principal. The Assistant Principal at the Elementary School works in collaboration with the Principal to support the teaching and learning of students, ensure the health and safety of the school community, and foster a climate of the community. In addition, the Assistant Principal has shared responsibility for supervision and evaluation, facilitation of administrative and operational structures, staffing, scheduling, MCAS administration, leadership in the school as well as other duties assigned by the Principal.

SKILLS/ABILITY:

Candidates should have evidence of instructional leadership potential that includes the following:

 

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES and/or DEGREE REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Must hold DESE Licensure as an Elementary Principal/Assistant Principal
  2. Must hold DESE Licensure as SEI Administrator Endorsement
  3. A master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  4. At least five years of successful classroom teaching experience.

 

START DATE: July 1, 2024

CLASSIFICATION: Singleton

 

PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:

  1. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  2. This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.

 

 

REPORTS TO: Principal

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Teachers

DiPietro Elementary (Preschool – Grade 3), Stall Brook Elementary (Preschool – Grade 3) Bellingham Memorial School (grades 4-7) and Bellingham High School (grades 8-12), and Keough Memorial Academy (grades 7-12) is our therapeutic day school for students with special needs.
