TITLE: INNOVATION PATHWAYS CO-ADMINISTRATORS
 

POSITION SUMMARY:


Bellingham High School is seeking 3 dedicated and visionary educators to serve as Innovation Pathways Co-Administrators. In this stipend position, the Co-Administrators will work collaboratively to lead the Innovation Pathways Program, which provides students with career-focused educational experiences aligned with high-demand industries. Co-Administrators will be responsible for coordinating program activities, overseeing student engagement, fostering industry partnerships, and ensuring that the program meets the district’s goals for career readiness and post-graduation success. This is a leadership role that requires strong collaboration, project management, and communication skills.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Curriculum Development: Design and implement career-focused curricula that integrates industry standards, workplace skills, and real-world learning experiences.
  • Industry Partnerships and Community Engagement: Assist to build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, industry leaders, and community organizations to create valuable partnerships that provide students with internships, mentorships, and other career opportunities.
  • Collaboration with Staff and Administrators: Work closely with teachers, administrators, and counselors to ensure seamless integration of the Innovation Pathways Program into the broader educational experience at Bellingham High School.
  • Event Planning and Coordination: Support innovation pathways initiatives such as career fairs, networking events, industry tours, and other experiential learning opportunities for students participating in the Innovation Pathways Program.
  • Grant Management and Fundraising: Assist in identifying and applying for grant opportunities that support the goals of the Innovation Pathways Program.
  • Adhere to Policies and Procedures: Follow all Bellingham School Committee policies and district guidelines in all aspects of the Innovation Pathways Program.

 

SKILLS/ABILITY:

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, industry professionals, and students.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for engaging stakeholders and preparing reports and presentations.
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions to improve program outcomes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate challenges and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Commitment to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve program goals.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES and/or DEGREE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Current teacher or staff member at Bellingham High School with a background in career education, vocational studies, or related fields preferred.
  • Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the School Committee may find appropriate and acceptable.

SALARY: $33 per hour for 50 hours, funded by the FY25 FC436 IP Planning Grant, subject to grant funding - Stipend is based completed work

The Bellingham Public School District’s enrollment is approximately 1,930 students and an organizational staff of 400 employees.  The district is split into the following building grade levels: DiPietro Elementary (Preschool – Grade 3), Stall Brook Elementary (Preschool – Grade 3) Bellingham Memorial School (grades 4-7) and Bellingham High School (grades 8-12), and Keough Memorial Academy (grades 7-12) is our therapeutic day school for students with special needs.
