TITLE: Innovation Pathways Grant Team Members
POSITION SUMMARY:
Bellingham High School is seeking 4 dedicated and collaborative educators to join the Innovation Pathways Grant Team. This stipend position offers a unique opportunity to support the development and execution of grant-funded initiatives aimed at expanding career pathways and providing students with opportunities for hands-on learning in high-demand industries. Team members will work together to research, apply for, and manage grants that align with the district’s goals for career exploration, industry partnerships, and student success.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Grant Research and Proposal Writing: Collaborate with team members to identify potential grant opportunities and assist in writing, editing, and submitting grant proposals that align with the goals of the Innovation Pathways Program.
- Program Development and Implementation: Contribute to the design and development of new programs and initiatives that are funded through grants, ensuring they meet the needs of students and align with current industry trends.
- Data Collection and Evaluation: Help gather data to evaluate the success of grant-funded programs and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Promote Innovation Pathways Programs: Advocate for the grant-funded initiatives within the school and broader community, raising awareness of opportunities for students to engage in career-focused learning.
- Adhere to Policies and Procedures: Follow all Bellingham School Committee policies, district guidelines, and specific requirements of each grant.
SKILLS/ABILITY:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write clear, compelling grant proposals and communicate with various stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple grant projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment with educators, administrators, and community partners.
- Familiarity with current trends in career education, workforce development, and innovation pathways.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to assess program effectiveness and use data for continuous improvement.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES and/or DEGREE REQUIREMENTS:
- Current teacher or staff member at Bellingham High School preferred.
- Experience with grant writing, program development, or career-focused education is preferred.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the School Committee may find appropriate and acceptable.
SALARY: $33 per hour up to 20 hours, funded by the FY25 FC436 IP Planning Grant, subject to grant funding - Stipend based on the successful completion of grant writing, management, and implementation duties.

DiPietro Elementary (Preschool – Grade 3), Stall Brook Elementary (Preschool – Grade 3) Bellingham Memorial School (grades 4-7) and Bellingham High School (grades 8-12), and Keough Memorial Academy (grades 7-12) is our therapeutic day school for students with special needs.
