Title:  Student Assistant 1:1 for Winter Sports Program (Track)

Salary:  $23/hour – 2:30-4:30pm (2 hours per day during practices)

             Game Schedule Varies (5 Games and 6 hours per day during event)

Schedule: Winter Season Dates Start on __11/27/2023__ and End on _2/1/2024__

DUTIES:

1. Assist student in accessing the sports program both during practices and games.
2. Help student put equipment on in the locker room before practice and remove/store equipment after practice.
3. Facilitate participation within the sports program.
4. Facilitate social interaction within the sports program with peers and coaches.
5. Works under the direction of the sports coach.
6. Guide student through warm up activities and drills.
7. Guide student in fitness and weight training program.
8. Keep student involved in the practice activities.
9. Monitor student during games, both home and away.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1.  High School Diploma
2.  Experience working with students with special needs preferred
3. Ability to understand and follow oral and written direction
4. Good communication skills
